TEAM HERITAGE
How did we get to where we are today?
Lake County Rugby has been ingrained into our blood for nearly three decades. 1998 was the first recorded date of the Gladiators and we stayed as the gladiators for 14 years, and in 2012 we decided to make a change.
In 2012 we opted to stay nickname and moniker free for a decade as we reevaluated who we were as a club. After a decade we finally made the decision to change our name and logo again.
In January of 2022 we selected the Coyotes as our mascot, it was an easy choice with them yipping and howling during our practices, the only thing easier was creating our logo.

CURRENT EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS
Every winter following the completion of our fall season, we host elections for our six Executive Board positions.
President - Jeff Jewell
Vice President - Sean Pearce
Treasurer - Seth Carlile
Match Secretary - Shane Quinlan
Social Chair - Lucas Ledlow
Ombudsman - Lisa Jewell

OUR COACHES
We wouldn’t be nearly the well oiled machine we are if it wasn’t for these two right here.
Head Coach / Backs - Mike Bruce
Assistant Coach / Forwards - Mike Scott
Without these two we wouldn’t know the fear of burpees, we wouldn’t know about Echolocation, we wouldn’t know the joy of winning, and we 100% wouldn’t know anything about Portugal. The number one thing they’ve taught us over their years as our coaches…. IS HOW TO PUT THE MUSTARD ON THE HOTDOG!
